This review is to thank the service department of Downtown Dueck for help with the issues I’ve had with a recurring problem with my 2015 Corvette Z51. It’s a truck a related problem where the AFM valve actuators in the exhaust burn out due the sustained high heat caused while on track. Unlike most high performance car manufacturers GM warranties the Corvette while on track so I have had the actuators replaced 4 or 5 times now under warranty. But it’s still a pain in the rear to go through taking your car in so much for this problem, plus my warranty is up in the fall of this year, so no more freebies after that. The service department lead by Adrian the service manager down to the tech that does the work have been very open to thinking outside the box and working with me to try different solutions to fix the problem permanently. The first couple of tries have not been successful but now I have purchased an aftermarket part that is supposed to solve this issue and they again were willing to install it in the hopes that this would be the final fix. Time will tell if this part is the solution or not, but the willingness to work with me and not refuse to try anything that isn’t in their service manuals is what I am so impressed with.
