Maximize Your Safety and Comfort with the Head-Up Display

The available head-up display (HUD) projects essential information directly onto your windshield, allowing you to stay focused on the road ahead. This system works by using a small lens located on the dashboard, which displays important data onto the windshield. You can tell if your vehicle has a head-up display by checking for HUD controls near the steering wheel, either on the left or right side.

In vehicles equipped with this feature, the head-up display can show a variety of information, such as speed, warnings, performance metrics, navigation guidance, and connected phone details. You can switch between different display modes using the info button, cycling through the following options:

  • Speed View: Displays your current speed, the posted speed limit, and—if your vehicle is equipped—adaptive cruise control, lane departure alerts, and an indicator for the vehicle ahead.
  • Phone View: Includes all the information in Speed View, along with radio station details, media info, and incoming calls.
  • Navigation View: Shows everything from Speed View, plus turn-by-turn navigation, or a compass heading if navigation is inactive.

Customizing Your HUD

You can easily adjust the height of the HUD using the up and down arrows or the dedicated height controls, but make sure your seat is adjusted correctly first. The brightness of the display can be modified with the dimmer switch, though it will automatically adjust to current light conditions. For best visibility, set the brightness to the lowest level that’s still comfortable for you.

HUD Care and Maintenance

To ensure your head-up display remains clear, keep the lens on the dashboard clean and free of obstructions. Gently wipe it with a soft cloth as needed. For the best viewing experience, position the display low enough to keep your view of the road clear while still seeing important information.

The head-up display allows you to stay aware of vital details without taking your eyes off the road, making your drive safer and more convenient.
